We empower young children and families. Why? As a children’s museum, we feel we have a responsibility to work toward a world in which each and every child develops curiosity, confidence and self-worth.
All year long the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum offers hands-on programming to help young children explore the world around them, practice skills and learn new things. Much of our programming focuses on helping children develop “school readiness” skills – those skills that predict success when a child enters school.
We also believe that parents and teachers are incredible facilitators of early learning. That is why our educational programs also engage the adults who support young children.
