Indoor Organic Gardens of Poughkeepsie
Indoor Organic Gardens of Poughkeepsie is an indoor urban farm that specializes in growing 100% certified organic microgreens. They are our neighbors – literally(!) – as they are “right up the street,” operating in a reclaimed dime store on Main Street in Poughkeepsie. While microgreens are mainly recognized for their flavor and visual qualities for “tuning up” an entree, salad, soup or sandwich, they pack a nutritional punch containing as much as 40 times more nutrients than their mature relatives. This new business has generated a lot of buzz here in the City. Come see why!
